Titan

aka George Pinas

George Pinas, known as Titan, was captivated by hard dance at the age of 11. After borrowing Thunderdome CDs from a classmate, he became fascinated by the music. His interest quickly shifted from the crowd to the DJs on stage. Soon after, he bought his first turntables together with a friend.

After many local performances, he entered Q-Factor, a DJ competition organized by Q-Dance, where he finished in second place. This achievement led to performances at major festivals such as Defqon.1, Q-Base, and Decibel, giving his career a significant boost.

In 2009, Titan signed with Fusion Records after sending out several demos. His first release, “Nightmare / Strength & Fury,” became a hit and received strong support from leading artists in the scene. In 2014, he released his debut album “Demolition of Silence” and introduced his live act “Titanomachy.” With this act, he performed at the biggest events and scored hits like “Flip Uhm Op Z’n Kantje,” “Sentinel” with Warface, and “Getting Off” with The Frequenzers.

After a challenging year in 2018, during which he experimented with his sound, he lost his connection with hardstyle and faced setbacks both professionally and personally. In 2019, Titan announced he would stop producing and performing in the hardstyle scene.

Years later, he was frequently approached about a comeback. In December 2022, he played a set at De Tijdmachine, which was very well received by fans. This led to performances at Rebirth Festival, Emporium, and Intents Festival in 2024, where his return was enthusiastically welcomed. Driven by the demand for the classic raw hardstyle sound, Titan decided to make his comeback.
